I've been sitting on this news for a little while, and I still get a small flutter every time I say it out loud: RoniB's Kitchen is now available on Kibsons UAE.
If you've followed our journey from the very beginning — from a kitchen table in Surrey to jars on shelves across the country — you'll know we don't take a single milestone for granted. But this one feels different. This is the first time our full range has landed on shelves (well, digital shelves) outside the UK. And it's happening in the UAE, a market with one of the biggest and most vibrant Filipino communities anywhere in the world.
Why this one means so much
When I started RoniB's Kitchen, I wasn't just building a condiments brand. I was trying to bottle up something that felt like home — the Adobo my family grew up on, the Banana Ketchup that always sat on the table, the sharp punch of Labuyo chillies that Filipino food just wouldn't be the same without. Every jar and bottle carries a piece of that story.
So when the opportunity came up to bring the full range to Kibsons — a name that so many households across the UAE already trust for their everyday shop — it felt like exactly the kind of expansion I'd hoped for one day, even before I fully believed it was possible.
The long way round
Here's the bit you don't see in the confetti graphic: this deal has been two years in the making.
We first met the Kibsons buyer exhibiting at Gulfood back in 2024. If you've ever done a trade show, you'll know how it goes — a good conversation, a warm handshake, an "let's stay in touch." What followed was two years of back and forth, with the contact on their end changing more than once along the way. No drama, just the slow reality of how these things actually happen.
Then, finally, the order came through. And almost immediately, the Middle East crisis hit, and the whole launch got pushed back. Our pallet actually reached Kibsons' depot back in February — so close, and yet it sat there, stuck, for months. It didn't leave until May. And now, finally, it's live.
I'm telling you this bit not to complain, but because I think it's worth saying out loud: nothing about building this brand has been instant. Every "overnight success" you see from us has quietly taken years.
What's now on the shelf
The whole family is there:
- Filipino Adobo Sauce
- Ihaw Ihaw BBQ Sauce
- Banana Ketchup
- Labuyo Hot Chilli Sauce
- Garlic Chilli Paste
- Garlic Chilli Oil
- Black Bean Chilli Paste
- Kalamansi Marmalade
- Tamarind Jam
Nine products, each one small-batch, plant-based, and built on recipes that mean something to me personally — now available to a whole new set of kitchens.
What this means for us — and for you
For me, this is proof that the slow, steady, sometimes-unglamorous work of building a food brand from scratch does pay off. Every market stall, every "yes" from a stockist, every early morning spent testing a recipe until it tasted right — it all adds up to moments like this one.
For you, if you're in the UAE and you've been missing the taste of home, or you're simply curious about Filipino flavours you haven't tried yet — you can now get the full range without it having to travel in your suitcase.
Thank you, genuinely, for being part of this with us. Whether you've bought a jar, shared a post, or just cheered us on from afar — this milestone belongs to you too.
If you're based in the UAE — please, go find us on Kibsons and give the range a try. Two years of patience went into getting those jars onto your app.
If you're not in the UAE but you know someone who is — a friend, family, anyone with a Filipino craving or just a curious palate — send this their way. Word of mouth is exactly how we got here, and it's exactly how we'll keep going.
