Ingredients
-
500g thinly sliced beef (you can use sirloin or quick-fry steak)
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
-
1 tablespoon cornstarch
-
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
-
1 onion, thinly sliced
-
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
-
1 bunch of fine beans, cut into 3” lengths (or use tenderstem broccoli)
-
5 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon RoniB's Kitchen Labuyo Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)
-
Black pepper to taste
-
Spring onions, chopped for garnish
Directions
In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.
Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry onions, bell peppers, asparagus or broccoli, and minced garlic until fragrant and vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the cooked beef to the pan and add RoniB's Kitchen Labuyo Hot Sauce. Toss everything together until well-coated and heated through. Add black pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped spring onions.
Serve over rice or noodles.
