Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced beef (you can use sirloin or quick-fry steak)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch of fine beans, cut into 3” lengths (or use tenderstem broccoli)
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon RoniB's Kitchen Labuyo Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)
- Black pepper to taste
- Spring onions, chopped for garnish
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.
- Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry onions, bell peppers, asparagus or broccoli, and minced garlic until fragrant and vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan and add RoniB's Kitchen Labuyo Hot Sauce. Toss everything together until well-coated and heated through. Add black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
