Ingredients
- 4 to 6 chicken thighs
- 5 tbsp local honey
- 5 tbsp RoniB’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Paste
- Salt
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 180C.
- Salt the chicken thighs.
- In a bowl, mix together the local honey and garlic chilli paste until thoroughly mixed.
- Place the chicken thighs in a oiled ovenproof pan.
- Coat each chicken with the honey and garlic chilli paste mix.
- Place the coated chicken thighs in the ovenproof dish. Cover with aluminium foil. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes covered.
- After 30-40 minutes, remove the cover and continue to cook for another 30 minutes. The sauce will be a little watery.
- After 30 minutes, take the chicken out and rest. Transfer the sauce in a small pot and reduce on the hob until it has thickened.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken.
- Serve with rice and vegetables or mashed potatoes and vegetables.
