Roni's Hot Honey Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 chicken thighs
  • 5 tbsp local honey
  • 5 tbsp RoniB’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Paste
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180C.
  2. Salt the chicken thighs.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the local honey and garlic chilli paste until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in a oiled ovenproof pan.
  5. Coat each chicken with the honey and garlic chilli paste mix.
  6. Place the coated chicken thighs in the ovenproof dish. Cover with aluminium foil. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes covered.
  7. After 30-40 minutes, remove the cover and continue to cook for another 30 minutes. The sauce will be a little watery.
  8. After 30 minutes, take the chicken out and rest. Transfer the sauce in a small pot and reduce on the hob until it has thickened.
  9. Spoon the sauce over the chicken.
  10. Serve with rice and vegetables or mashed potatoes and vegetables.
