A quick and vibrant side dish featuring crisp green beans sautéed with RoniB’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Oil. It adds gentle heat, garlicky depth, and a bright pop of colour — perfect for your Christmas × Noche Buena fusion table or any weeknight meal.

Ingredients

400g green beans, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
1–1½ tbsp RoniB’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Oil
2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: toasted sesame seeds or fried shallots for topping

Directions

Blanch the beans:: Bring a pot of salted water to the boil. Add green beans and cook for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and immediately rinse under cold water to stop the cooking.
Sauté: Heat oil in a large pan. Add sliced garlic and cook gently for 30 seconds until fragrant (not browned).
Toss in the blanched green beans and stir for 2 minutes to heat through.
Stir in Garlic Chilli Oil. Season with salt and black pepper.

Recipe Note

Transfer to a serving dish and top with sesame seeds or fried shallots if desired.
