Last night marked an unforgettable milestone for RoniB's Kitchen, and we're thrilled to share the incredible news with all our beloved supporters! WE WON! Woohoo!
In the World episode final reveal of Aldi's Next Big Thing, we secured a prestigious contract with Aldi to feature our beloved Filipino Banana Ketchup only in Aldi stores nationwide across the UK.
The journey to this moment has been nothing short of extraordinary. From our initial pitch to the nail-biting final showdown, we poured our hearts and souls into showcasing the best of Filipino cuisine on a national stage. As Roni said, it’s been our mission to share Filipino flavours to the UK food scene – and hopefully around the world.
"What an experience to be on Aldi's Next Big Thing! We competed with some fantastic brands who all presented amazing products. When it came down to the four semi-finalists, we looked at each one and all can scale up to the volumes Julie was asking. It was nerve-wracking to pitch to Julie but she and the presenters, Chris Bavin and Anita Rani were all nice and supportive. Always giving words of encouragement. I think they can see the nerves. Oh, it was tight! Really tight!" - Roni

As a result of our victory, an impressive 100,000 bottles of our banana ketchup are now gracing the shelves of Aldi stores nationwide, allowing even more people to experience the magic of RoniB's Kitchen first-hand. We couldn’t have done it without our partners, Chilli Mash Company in Portsmouth! They’ve helped us bring our products to shelves and scale up to achieve this monumental Aldi order.
Continuing the celebration, we’re also announcing a special Raffle Draw! It was an emotional day for us a couple of weeks ago, seeing the final batch of bottles leaving the factory (batch code RN42002/4). We’ll award a prize to the lucky people who bought one of those bottles! 10 winners of 10% off our products on our website!
